    New Kahr Smell...

Here is the flawless Kahr PM9 bought from Air, Land, & Sea. Really like the weight and feel....significantly more concealable than my P9 but still feels like a gun in your hand should. Will be EDC after some adequate range time.

+1 Great title. Don't own a Kahr yet but would like a pm9 at some point. Happy shooting!

I have been reading here for about a month and this is the first PM9 mention I have found (maybe I just missed them?). Anyway, I would like to say that I love the pics. Congrats on your new Kahr smell ! I have been drooling on the display glass at Turner's Sporting Goods for a month but holding off til I could find SOMEONE who owned a PM9 and could give me personal experience info on it. SO....what ammo does it like, any problems or hick-ups ? Help me with info, please.

My range has been closed for renovations....go figure. Haven't put her to the test yet. I do have a Kahr P9 which has been 100% for about 3000 rounds with all major types of FMJ, and speer gold dots. The pm9 is essentially a chopped down P9....so I am expecting similar results.

Kahrs are TIGHT guns. They like lube and need a 200-300 round break in period. I love Glocks...but for me they can be to thick for EDC. Kahr shares similar look, is noticably thinner, and has a deliberate DAO trigger pull. Putting one in your hands is really the only way of knowing if it may be a match. I find that they can be a bit overpriced new....I was lucky to find a good "like new" one....there are more out there. Guns america has a few....and no state tax shipped to FFL!

There is a lot of info on glocktalk.com under the Kahrclub.

Take Care and Good Luck! Safe shooting.

Fits my hand great and I love the thin thickness. The price is not too bad compared with the last S&W that I bought (317: 8 shot, 22lr ). Turner's is about $120 off MSRP on PM9. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out right now.

Congrats on the new Kahr PM9! I recently purchased one as well and am still breaking it in. Thus far, no problems.

WJP9: I'll be waiting for your range report. The link did have good info, thanks. The link took me to other links and I think I have made my decision in favor of the PM9. Some people have very high expectations (like buying a tool and expecting "fine art"), some people need to read the operator's manual before using, and some people complain about everything. That is why I: 1. read, 2. ask competent hands-on people and 3. rent one from the range before buying. On to stage 3: the range.
