    Who is currently carrying 10mm?

I searched for this and there is a somewhat related thread regarding the merit of 10mm as a defensive round.
    http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...7190-10mm.html

This thread is trying to gage how many people who actively carry 10mm. Please post if you currently carry 10mm and what is/are your platform(s) and your carry ammo.

To start off, I have wanted a 10mm 1911 forever and found a cherry Dan Wesson EXP in the used bin at a local shop. It is stuffed with 175gr. Win. Silvertips.

    Colt 10mm

I have one 10mm and shoot it frequently, but don't actively carry it because it is a little too large for that, in my opinion. It is a Colt Delta Gold Cup, a full size stainless 1911. I guess I have toyed with the idea of carrying it, but always picked something about 10 ounces lighter weight.

It is a great shooter, and I usually buy ammo from Georgia Arms.

Nice Dan Wesson! I haven't had much luck finding a 10mm in my price range lately. A 10mm Dan Wesson CBOB and/or Colt Delta Elite are at the top of my list.

There's a shop here where I sometimes shoot that usually has the Glock 20 and 29s in stock but they just don't fit my grip well, they're too long between the front and back straps for me. Guess I'll have to watch for a 1911 at a reasonable price.

I think I'd reserve a 10mm for range duty and woods or fishing carry. For edc in my urban setting it's a bit more powerful than I'd feel comfortable with.

I have a G-29 and mainly carry it in the woods. I had intended to carry some in town but never did, mainly because I don't have a good concealment holster.

    Revolver

I have a S&W 610 N frame that I open carry or casually conceal at the gunshop. I load it with 135gr Double Tap and carry two moon clips in a single pouch. The top clip is 135gr DT, the bottom is Norma 200gr FMJ.

I looked for a 610 last time I was at the gun shop (I'm a sucker for an unfluted cylinder), closest I could come was a 629 PC Carry Comp ... it's on layaway now. How 'bout some pics of that 610?

I don't but anytime I see something about the 10mm I remember reading how Ted Nugent's CC is with 10mm.

I almost bought a 610, but ended up getting a GP100 because it didn't have a lock and ammo can be found anywhere. I'm ordering a case of ammo from DoubleTap, you can get a "variety pack" where you choose what type and how many you want of various loads.

    Why do I carry a Gun? Because I can't carry a Cop
