My Sig P220
Got this from one of my father's co-workers about a year ago for $250. I've really enjoyed it so far, and the recoil is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The only blemish is a little wear on the barrel.

I think the 220 is one of the best out there.

I carry my 220 all the time! I've put over 7000 rounds through it and NEVER and NEVER had any problems!

Incredible price! I have the P220 Carry ("Commander" version) and also like it very much.

omg you suck!
I want a 220 soooo bad. I am hoping it is the answer to my 1911 blues.

Absolutely love the full size P220! Mine is SAO model. I'll forever remember the day I turned from Glock in my best choice for the 45acp. I'm a better person for it. That's right...hardcore Glock fan sold his G21 two years ago, and traded his G30 last year for the best 45 I've ever owned or shot. I had really liked the feel of the standard P220 at a gun show around this time last year but didn't have the cash and they wouldn't trade.....but a month and a half later, I came out better than expected. I wish you hadn't told about yours being 'salvaged' for $250......posts like that give me sharp pains in my bowels. Anyway----that's an awesome pistol you've got there, but I guess you know that. I know mine's a keeper. The more you shoot it, the more you'll love it, and it never gets old.
Funny you should mention that.......that was actually my goal when I knew my G30 wasn't working out for me....another 1911. I had originally thought about the SIGs in the Revolution models, but when I heard about the P220 SAO, I had to check it out. I'm not a die hard 1911 fan like some, but they are second nature to me. This was my answer for the 45 I was looking for. Sometimes the stars align just right, you can't make a mistake.....unless you think about it for too long!

When I got mine, it was called a Browning BDA.
It says SIG SAUER on the slide.
It has the magazine release on the bottom.
It will shoot ANYTHING.
It will chamber an empty case.
The gun refuses to show any wear
and it has to be 30 years old or more.
Maybe not the prettiest gun,
but it's like having a flat revolver.
It is THAT reliable.
