The 239 (mine is in 9mm) is SWEET! I keep saying I want to (hope to?) get a 229 in 357 SIG this year, and would probably spring for the .40S&W barrel to drop into it.Originally Posted by rfurtkamp

Watch for the combos on the CPOs - a lot of the time when a 357 is available, the dealer can get a 40 barrel included for $80ish more.
The .40 barrel is almost always NIW.

I keep saying that I'm perfectly happy with my Glock M27 in 40. But the truth is that I am developing an urgent LUST for the new Sig P239 SAS model. I think it is the DAK action or it's available as an option. That thing is sweeeeeet. Anybody know the mag capacity on the 239?

Do you have a link for them or a place from which to get a hard copy catalog?Originally Posted by HotGuns

I think it was December last year (04) that SIG had the 229 with both barrels as their "special of the month". I went to my dealer, and he couldn't get one because of Maryland's casing law. None of them were packed with a fierd casing!Originally Posted by rfurtkamp

The 239 SAS is DAK, and the mag capacity is 7.Originally Posted by ExSoldier762

Those SASs are nice looking, got to get my fingers on one. I have to admit, wanting a 229, the 229 SAS has crossed my mind.

Yeah, buy one gun or even just some magazines or something and you'll get it forever.
