I have a Beretta Px4 Storm in 9mm and carry 18 rounds of 124gr +P Golden Sabers and an extra 20 round mag of the same. 384 ft.lbs. of energy at 1180 fps at the muzzle is fine enough for me. I also have some 115 gr +P Guardian Golds that I'll be swapping out with the Golden Sabers from time to time. They produce 397 ft. lbs. and 1246 fps at the muzzle I think.

because i'm cash strapped it would most likely be a Ruger 9mm. we have an 89DC or something i forget the model its bulky but at least i know it will go bang every time. as far as ammo the golden sabers seem decent enough but whatever i put in there will go bang and thats what counts :-D if i had a little extra i'd go with the sr9. and if i could have anything it would probably be a beretta px4 storm...i should do some research just to see what is out in the 9mm market. Oh and I love my .45 XD so the 9mm version would be a definate possibility too..and i've looked into an XD9. i'm quite indecisive can't you tell? :-D

I absolutely choose to carry a 9mm every day. A CZ P-01. Forged alum. alloy frame, steel slide, 14+1, 28oz unloaded, accurate and reliable.

If I could reduce the size a bit and yet still have something known for high reliability, durability and accuracy, I'd opt for the HK P2000SK, but the positioning of the magazine release fails to work with the size of my hand/fingers. So, no can do.

If I had to choose a single 9mm that could be taken everywhere, even stealth mode (pocket carry), it would have to be the Kahr PM9. That is, if I could find one that was reliable. Bad luck on that score, so far.

    Don't most choose to carry 9MM? :-D I'll alternate between a S&W M&P and a Keltec PF-9.

I carry a 9mm by choice (since it works just as well as any common caliber). As to the specific pistol, AFAIC Glocks are the best on the market.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.

    I already do carry a 9mm everyday.

    Glock 19

I may start carrying my G17 this winter once I get night sights on it.

I choose the KAHR CW9 for CC and Ruger SR9 for vehicle. I use the Cor-Bon Power-R-Ball 90 gr. load.

I would likely pick the Springfield XD. Then give it to my wife. :)

After buying nearly a dozen pistols in the last 5 years I would have to say that my absolute favorite EDC 9MM is the Walther PPS. Since I live in NY I am limited to a 10 round mag so hi-cap is not an option for me. Alas, I learned to cope with 6,7, or 8 round low-cap and found that this gun that feels best on my hip and it has been a flawless runner with well over 1000 rounds down range. For me it is most definitely my Walther PPS.
