There is a local shop here that has a lightly used one(looks new) with 1 regular mag and one with a +1 extension for $425. He'll ship, PM me if you want details.
That sounds about normal for a new G36, maybe a tad high but not by much. The used one that Bline speaks of sounds like a great deal though. I would get the details if I were you. :hand10:
I paid 545 + 7% tax about 6 months ago, and I've heard that Glock prices are going up. So, $616 could be in the neighborhood. Some models are more expensive than others; I don't know why, but the G-30 and 36 are definitely higher priced.
Just saw a couple on Gun Broker, one was NIB $565 Buy It Now with free shipping, another was NIB with night sights, $549 plus shipping $28. Not sure of your area, I've got an FFL that will transfer for $15 in my area.... These were just in the first few ads.
I bought a used one that looked like new off of a cop for 500 dollars. I was happy to pay it for a new looking low round count G36 as I really wanted a used gun:wink:
You need to learn how to sneak it in through the garage, and once it's past 2 weeks old and she sees it, you can say: "Oh that gun, I've had that for a while now!"
LOL!
Unfortunately my wife is extremely low maintenance, so that really doesn't work with her. Since it's the first Glock and only black/ blued gun that I own, that kinda shoots me in the foot as well. (All of mine are stainless)
I guess I'm a firm believer in "begging for forgiveness than asking for permission".
My wife doesn't ask and I don't tell! She knows that I have a safe with guns in it, but doesn't know how many or what they are. OTH, I don't pay attention to her stockpile of shoes.
In shopping for my recent G26 last month, I saw prices from $489 to $600 for a GLOCK 26!
Unfortunately, some dealers are taking advantage of the Obama panic right now.
IMHO $616 is high! You can probably find a used online and come out significantly under that or even a new one and still come out under that regardless of shipping, FFL fee and bg check.
Sounds like I should have kept the 36 that I traded away a couple of years ago!
My wife is pretty good about the gun stuff, it's sort of a "she don't ask, I don't tell" arrangement. Of course, I keep her well stocked with girl goodies from Coach and Dooney & Bourke!
