This is all well and good, but wouldn't you need an FFL to buy one of these? Heck, I could just buy the frame and all the parts and have myself a new gun. Am I missing something?

I shoot all of my Glocks just fine with the standard frame and a Hogue slip on. I shoot them fine without the Hogue as well, but I aquire a better grip with the slip on.
The biggest complaint of the Glocks is that their frames were just too big for some people. Others, like myself, thought that they had the ergonomics of a 2x4.
This is just an attempt to capture that segment of the market that tried Glocks and didnt like them...and I'm sure they will sell some.
Wow, I'm not the only one who thinks that! I think there is going to be more money spent making and marketing these frames then selling them. Bad idea....Glock lovers are not going to want to change their Glocks...Quote:

HotGuns, I was anti Glock for a long time. I was issued one on an assignment in 2003 and love their perfect simplicity. To me they are perfect, my G30 sees alot more carry time than my $1000+ dollar 1911. I never said anything about EVERYONE, did I?
