    Concealed Weapon suggestion

I know this has been asked many times and i must of read so many threads disucssing this very question but all unique to that individual. So i though i would post what i wanted one for and see what the suggestions are. I currently have a taurus 9mm for home but its just to heavy and big to carry concealed comfortably.

    so.

I am looking for a weapon that is easily concealable in both summer, winter or basically anytime and every time. My budget is small under $500 but want something that is

    small
    not heavy
    powerfull
    easy concealable
    under $500.

What suggestions do you all have. There is a gun show this weekend and i want to purchase it then, but want to have some info before i go so i know what to look at and weed out any bad ones.

thank you all very much for answering another one of these questions

You could go with a Taurus PT111

But for the best combo of concealibilty and power for me is a .357 snubnose revolver.

have been looking at the glocks, but also like the look of the Taurus PT111 someone mentioned, was just looking it up on the net and it seems to fit my description also. Definately one to look at.

I like my Kahr CW9 for everyday carry. I used to carry a 1911 but the CW9 is so much more comfortable that it has relegated my 1911 to nightstand duty.

Well, under $500.00 I'd say Glock too!

Agreed. Personally, I think that the 1911 format is easier to conceal.

+1 on the Kahr CW9. I carry one off duty and it's quality, reliable, easily concealed weapon. Plus they can be had for around $400, you can spend the extra on ammo, spare mags, holster, something for the wife, who knows!

Looking around on the internet is only going to do you so much good. Go to the gun stores and hold them. Rent and shoot them if possible. Narrow it down from there and come back with some options that you liked.

Glock 26 or 27 or, S&W 38 snubby. The snubby would be the lightest (642 weighs 15 oz.), least expensive, and easy to pocket carry.

    I agree with you.

I prefer handguns that aren't so shrunken and lightweight. Something substantial is more shootable.

I thought they were over $500, will have to check that out. What is a good holster (concealable)? Is it best to get one that is inside the pants on the waits instead of outside? Trying to find best way to conceal it even in summer with shorts and a reg shirt.

    thanks for all the info.
