This is a discussion on Wife got CCW and a new Kel-Tec! within the Defensive Carry Guns forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; The wife got her permit the other day. Went to the Sheriffs Office and walked out out with her CCW in aobut 15 min. Gotta ...

be sure and get her the finger rest baseplate. The KT P3AT is really snappy...especially to most women (my wife really likes her P32, but hates my P3AT). The finger rest adds a tremendous amount to the ability to control muzzle flip.
I really want to hear a range report.
Congratulations on both the permit, and a great little "always" gun!

J/K about that really... she is one of a kind though.
...but she does ask a whole lot of ?s
I know, I didnt take you seriously. Asking questions is a good thing and this forum is a great place for her to ask questions. It would probably blow your mind to know how many years of experience is on this forum.
Congratulations to both you and especially your bride. It appears that you've got a keeper there.
Hope she likes her P3AT as well as I do mine. Pocket carry every day. Sometimes as a back up to my Sig, which I can not carry constantly as my Kel-Tec.
Bought my wife a P32. She is inexperienced with firearms. After some target shooting and instructions she started getting it into the 8" pie plate. She was real happy with herself. I was too. Now we just need to practice some more.
Might I suggest Cor-Bon DPX for a round for the .380... They prove to be excellent expanders and good penetration.
Left is .45 Federal Hyrda Shock, middle is Cor-Bon .380, all copper Barnes DPX bullet, and right is Remington Golden Saber .380
