Wish they would give away the new Sig 1911 instead
We have notified SIG that if an entry shows up from you, it goes straight into the "bit bucket".

I know what you mean..... I need a few of those myself. But I see 1911 in there, are you pandering to Bruce45, or do you mean the GSR?

I entered. I need another 226 like I need another hole in the head, just like I didn't need the AK underfolder that followed me home today.

Well, I just replaced the P239 in 9mm that I have with a P229 in .40S&W. But, I still need the P226! The single stack mag was just too small and it made me feel like I had to squeeze the gun before it felt secure. The 229 fixed that problem and it was the one that I wanted in the first place.... I learned my lesson about buying the first gun you pick up. Don't do it. Even if it is a SIG!

Strange John - while my hands are large they are not hams - but my 226 - or any double stacker feels so much better. I doubt a 239 would suit me one bit.

When I shoot the 220 I have to get used to the slimmer grips - much prefer wide and good handful.!!

I might have overexaggerated just a bit. The 239 just felt uncomfortable. It was a little too short in the grip and quite thin for my taste. That didn't make it unusable, it just made it tradeable. I don't have hams for hands either, at least I don't think I do. I do have slightly larger hands that make it more comfortable for me to utilize a double tack mag better. Well, you understand what I'm trying to say in my decreased level of consciousness at 0545.
