Bought my first pistol today!!!
After a very long wait, (9 months) I bought my first pistol today. I was originally looking at a Glock 23, but with ammo prices getting worse I picked up a 19 instead. Now I have to wait till Monday to go the the County clerk and then pick it up!!! Then I'll be heading straight to Walmart.

You should enjoy your purchase...the G-19 will cost less to fire than a .45. (Not my choice, but it's not my gun.)
Stay armed...run to that shop and get that 'sucker'...stay safe!

Congrats on the new addition! From my point of view a Glock is everything a defensive pistol should be. I know you're going to love it. Welcome to the forum... glad to have you on here with us.

Congratulations, I have G23. With the price off ammo you made a good choice.

My girlfriend is a typical anti-gun New Yorker. I told her, and the first thing she said was "Oh my God you don't have it on you do you???" Hopefully after I show her how to handle it safely, and how it works she won't be so scared of it.
She's always on my strong side while walking in public with her hand on my waist. I told her she'd have to start liking my left side!! I can picture being in the grocery store or something and her accidentally touching it and freaking out and drawing attention.
