Carry for more than 5 years?

How many on this forum have used the same EDC for more than 5 years? Ten? I'm not disqualifying anyone who carries a snubbie to the convienience store here and there instead of the primary. I'm talking about your usual handgun.

I'm just hitting my 6th anniversary with a Kimber Pro Carry II. This year, I've also begun to wear newly acquired a Springfield XD sometimes. I began IDPA in the spring, and find I shoot the XD much better.

My current CCW is going on three, but the one before lasted almost 14 years. That was a marvelous, ultra-dependable Beretta 84. My Seecamp, which I carry almost everyday, is going on 22 years. I keep good cars for a while too.

Have been carrying my Glock 26 ever since I received my license and that was 9 years ago. Don't have any complaints.

I'm going on 3 years with my current EDC. Did 4 years with my previous choice.
Prior to that, nearly 9 years switching out between two diffrent platforms.

Carried a Combat Commander (sold ) off body in a Special Weapons Products briefcase for about 6 years. Switched to a Glock 17 in same case for another 5 or so.

I've been carrying since '95 but have carried several.

The one I always come back to is the Colt Combat Commander in stainless.

Been carrying the P228 for almost 7 years now.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

My Kimber Ultra is getting close to 4 years with me. It goes everywhere with me except on my Harley (Mr. Glock-36 prefers the Harley).

Glock 27 since 1996, I will admit to carrying a SIG229 or 1911 variant (leaving out a snubbie I carry some) on occasion, but my G27 is by far my primary carry weapon.

I've had my Kimber Ultra Carry for a little over 5 years and before that was my S&W Sigma SW9F which I still use as a secondary.

My initial CCW carry in 1994 was a Colt Det Spec that I still carry as a BUG often.
