No MIM (it actually uses all Ed Brown parts now), good fit and finish. Good customer service should you need it. Comes standard with night sights too which is always a plus for me. About $930 NIB.

    Niiiice!

To really get a sense of 1911 trigger you might want to stop into a gun shop real quick and ask to look at the 1911 line of guns, even if you just dry fire it you will know better what it is all about, but I guess if I were to try to put into words for me it is short and sweet trigger pull. No long travel, no hard pull just short and sweet.

Like the others above have said, it's the trigger pull. Single action. All the trigger does is release. No cocking. Much lighter pull. Just like shooting a DA/SA revolver that has the hammer cocked back. From the factory, triggers are lower than the 5 pound mark. Plus, they fit perfectly in my hand.

Since the birth of my son I have been away from the forum for a while. I normally carry my 38 snub, but the way the world is going I have decided to carry the Springfield 1911 full time. Glad to be back and ready to get caught up.

I gotta get a 1911. Dan Wesson, or maybe a Colt. So many choices, so little time.
