COP .357 anyone remember these ?

I just picked up a COP 4 barreled .357 DA derringer !!!!! I remember these came out late 70's early 80's and always wanted one . They were big with off duty officers and backup for on duty officers when they 1st came out . The one I got has the original satin lined box and appears never to have been fired . The grips and the whole gun looks brand new ! Any of you remember these little guns ? Anyone have one or carry it ? I would like any feedback I can get on this gun .

I just remember seeing it in the Will Smith Bad Boys movie at the end (maybe #2). Are you going to fire it? Better hold on tight!

    Where are the pictures?!

Heavy, miserable trigger, and inaccurate and virtually uncontrollable with .357 loads. Other than that, a great gun!

Sorry........you asked. Kind of a neat collectors piece, but I wouldn't trust my life to it on a bet.

Maybe someone else has better memories of it than me.

I remember them. Never fired one. Held one a couple times. Very odd looking little gun!

Some were prone to misfire and some not.
I've shot one before. Recoil was pretty stiff but, not unmanageable.

It's a neat and unusual collectible. They were not ever made in huge numbers.
Spare parts availability could be an incredibly insurmountable problem these days should it ever need repair parts.

It has a great deal of built in cool factor though and congrats on finding one in like new condition.

Heck, I'd have snapped it up for that price too! Where'd you find it?
It's going to be a terrific conversation piece. Are you going to try shooting it? Merry Christmas to you!!

Do you like to be tied up and whipped also???
Cool looking guns. I could never figure out why there were four barrels. After the first shot, you had to turn around and find your gun on the ground. Wicked recoil!

That's one bizarre looking hand gun, with some wheels it'll look like a mini-multiple rocket launcher. Way cool, I've never seen one of those before, scary.

It doesn't fire all four at the same time, the action rotates from barrel to barrel. It's kind of a fixed barrel revolver. Regardless, I'll bet it's nasty to shoot anyway!
