I have a PT140 and have had no problems with it. I had a Taurus revolver a long time ago but for the life of me can't remember what it was, but had no problems with it. I have heard varied opinions on Taurus, either they are happy with them or very unhappy. As for me the PT140 is a comfortable gun and has performed well.

I'm in the process of purchasing a Taurus model 85 UL snubbie w/ a ported barrel. It looks great and I'm hoping it will perform as well. From these postings I don't think I'll have any trouble either. Can't wait to shoot it. Any thoughts on the ported barrel?

I used to own a trouble free Taurus PT99 but my buddy wanted a high cap 9mm so I traded my PT99 for his HK USP Compact Variant 1 plus $100.

I currently own an M94 in 22lr, PT111 MilPro SS DAO, PT140 MilPro SS DAO and a PT145Pro SS SA/DA 3rd Gen. I have not had any problems with any of them.

I have a 627, love it. With the right holster, I can carry it very comfortably, and it has never given me any problems at all.

My 2nd generation DAO Tarus Millennium Pro PT145 is one of my favorite pistols. No problems.

I Own the SS 1911 45 acp and I love it. Does nt mean the same for the next one I buy but I could say that about all the others also. If it is man made there are going to be problems from time to time. I give all the same respect regardless of price until proven other wise. That includes Hi point which I have owned one in 9mm .

    Taurus 24/7 PRO in .45

I've shot and qualified with my Taurus 24/7 Pro in .45 ACP. GREAT pistol. Only thing with it, is that the extractor does not get a really tight grip on the rim of the cartridge. Other than that it's Tack driving time!!

I wouldn't own one of their auto's if you gave it to me. The revolvers (at least the snubbys) are acceptable but not as good as the S&W's or Rugers.

    just my $0.02

I'm looking to get a RB 454 or 444 also read great reviews about, shot a discontinued model .45 acp 5 shot revolver, it was great.

from hearsay I been told to stay away from their pistols "dont know if it's true anymore" but their revolvers are great.
