I was out running some errands, and had a hunch, so I stoppoed by my local Sportsman's Warehouse... low and behold, they received 5 Ruger LCP's this morning! I immediately asked for the background check paperwork and got one reserved!

CBI is running about 3 hours right now to complete the checks, so I'm gonna go pick up my girl tonight! I'm so stoked! The serial is 370-69xxx! Merry X-mas to me!

Unfortunately they are completely out of .380 ACP ammo... so it may be a day or 2 before she gets to go bang.

Congrats! I had a Kel-tec P3AT and ended up selling it. I should've kept it. Contrary to popular opinion, my S&W 340 just isn't a pocket gun and more often than not ends up on my ankle. Maybe I'll pick up an LCP for Xmas

I cc my LCP everyday. I have one of the models that has to be sent back. That's not so bad, but I'm going to have "empty pocket syndrome" for a week or so. I'll fill it with something else I have around here.

Our local Sportman's Warehouse has been out of handgun ammo for over a month. They have very few handguns in stock. I guess everyone is in panic mode right now with Obama coming in. Congrats on your new date - I wish our local store would get some of those beauties in. I was told by a manger the Sportsman's Warehouses were recently sold to another investor(s) and this is what has hindered stock. Let us know how it shoots. I like the new Critical Defense .380 ammo - if you can find it.
