Fair price for used Sig P226?

An LEO buddy is selling a SIG P226, .40 with 3 mags & wants $650. It is in great shape with a little holster wear & comes with box, manuals etc. It has a light rail & night sights. Is $650 a fair price?

Its a little high, but not to much. $600. would be a good deal.

    650 would be a fair/good retail price.

Try Ordinance Outfitters. They have turned in Sigs that have been checked out at great prices. I would say more along the line of $450-500.

Yes , you can find cheaper Sigs from turn ins, but I wouldnt describe them as in great shape.

I've never heard Ordinance Outfitters, do you have a link?

If it's is really great shape... I'd buy it if I was looking for one, but .40's are a dime a dozen these days.

If you have the cash I'd go for it.

they had 3 various used P226 in the Cabela's in Post Falls, ID when I was there the other day. I don't recall the exact prices, but they were all in the $600-700 range. Finish showed moderate wear and scratches.

Tons of PD's are trading their stock out. Prices should be very low right now.

Good price up here in NY. Used/CPO Sigs without NS's go for $600 bucks. But in NY, we're used to paying more for everything.

If you ask me $650 is a bit high. New sigs in my area go for $729.99 for a basic sig 226. You can get factory rebuilt sigs all day long for $550.00. I got my 226 with a .40 S&W and a .357 sig barrel for $550.00 with a year warranty from sig. I have seen their high end guns (Such as the SAS) coming out of the same program lately for about $650.
