One final thing to remember: Use the Mec-gar +2 mags and your mag capacity jumps. 17+1 in the 226.

As far as concealability, the 225 is probably the simplest, as the butt on the 226/8/9 is the hardest part for most folks to hide.

I'm partial to the full-size Sigs - the 228 for me is a gun that doesn't accomplish anything that its big brother can't.

Dang but that 239 SAS is pretty and it fills my hand nicer than the Glock M27. Still, don't think I can sell this one to the Chief of Staff.

Thanks for all the advice. Anyone else feel free to chime in.

They definitely won't go lower than $600 out the door on any of the 3.

Funny thing is I was talking to the wife tonight, and she told me to just go ahead and buy one... then she said that I should shoot more.

Wha...? Who are you and what have you done with my wife? This is the woman who I caught fondling my revolver while giving me a hug. I asked her what she was doing and she said: "If it goes off in your pocket, maybe you'll stop carrying it."

Could there be a ***** in the armor?

Any chance your wife could talk to MY wife? Or at least send her some of what she's been smoking?
