Anyone Carry 2 Full Size Weapons?

I was curious if anyone carries 2 full size weapons?

I have thrown around the idea of carrying my Kimber Pro CDPII and my HK USPC .40

I have tried it around the house with the Kimber in a crossdraw and my HK in a strong side with a reload for the HK..

I think I might try it tomorrow while out and about, just wondering if anyone does it regurally, and if so whats your gear

I've tried the xd45 and glock 27 and .357 combos in my smart carry. (only 2 at at time ), but to much bulk to hide and I'm not that worried. I carry my weapon of choice and one extra mag or reload.

Even off duty I don't know of any cops that carry 2 guns.

    To each his own.

While I certainly defend your right to do so...why?

And more importantly, if you feel you must carry two, why not identical, or at least ones that can share ammo?

I presently carry my Colt Defender OWB and my 9mm Rohrbaugh in my strong-side front pocket. I trade off the Defender with my .40 cal PPS quite often but the PPS is out of action presently, waiting for a recoil spring assembly to arrive in the mail. That is about as big as I care to get for my second gun although I almost always carry two.

If I am hiking or there is civil unrest, then I'll have two full size 1911s or two full size Glocks on me plus the pocket gun.
One full size strong-side OWB and the other weak-side, I guess you could say backwards for a cross-draw on the second full size with a second OWB leather holster (Mernickle PS6s, PS18s etc. for the Glocks and 1911s). The full size I'm referring to means that sometimes the second full size might be as small as a Glock 23 or 27 when packing Glocks or a CCO when packing 1911s.

I know a guy who used to carry a pair of G17's in a shoulder rig. He only did it because he could (barrel chested with big arms).

It's just like carrying a primary and a BUG. You have to dress properly to do it. You will need good carry gear.

Saw an article one time about a guy who carried two g26s in kramer belt scabbards...mirror carry one on each side of his belt....but not anybody with two FULL size guns at one time.

I salute the man who mentioned the New York Reload. I have not laughed that hard yet this week, as that is the way I carry. (Primary and BUG w/ one mag each.)
