    Gratz!

I just shot one of these last Thursday. Nice firearm. I prefer Glocks, but nothing wrong with the XD.

Brother-in-law was in town and brought his Springfield XD 45 ACP Compact.

I prefer Glocks, as they feel easy to maintain and I shoot well with them. The XD is a close 2nd. A very nice firearm. The only thing I did not like (or at least I liked better about my Glock) was the sights.

I can see why the XD is giving Glock some competition with LE carry. The extra safety plus the firing pin indicator might give it a PR edge.

Following my trend with the LCP for carrying what some consider an underpowered firearm, I carry a SOG Blink every day.

Some may consider it underpowered, but I tried the Flash II but it was far too big for me to comfortably carry in an office environment, besides looking really scary.

I love the Blink especially with the reversible clip (for this lefty).

I like how the recoil spring sticks out a little up front. Might help prevent barrel problem / damage from a front impact. Was that the intention?

    Congrats on the new gear.
I've had my SOG flash2 for about a year. Great knife!
