    Very nice. Smith definitely makes some great looking guns. A guy I used to work with did specialty work for Smith & Wesson. Every now and then, he would get a shipment of guns from one of the Performance Center guys. Next shipment, I am going to try to get this one from him.

    Yup, I think the Compact ES is the winner alright; I like he longer barrel "Commander" slide mated to a "Officer's ACP" frame is a great 1911 design.

    I really like that compact es! night sights and some 30LPI on the front strap and that would be sweet!!

    I'll have to check that out over the next year or two.

    I've been thinking about that 3", I just worry about the hit and miss reliability with a 3" 1911.
