    Can you tell me about the trigger on that Kimber? Is it DA/SA? DAO? Thanks.

    That's a standard 1911 pattern trigger with regard to DA/SA, it is SAO as are the vast majority of 1911's (I'd guess WAY OVER 99%).

    There've been a few factory and custom models of 1911 that were DA/SA and I think one or two DAO, but none of these ever seemed to catch on real big. It's single action, just like it's Grand Daddy, the Single Action Army Colt .45.

    I can tell you it is *sweet* - maybe 4.5 pounds, super smooth, breaks very clean. And yeah, as stated by others, Single Action Only.


    Btw, I just gonna done teaching some leftover pumpkins a lesson, Kimber style! Woohoo!
    .40 is fine.

    congrats brother. i use kimber and chip mccormick mags for my 1911 and have never ever ran into any problems with them
