    Well, I own a G17, G19, HK45, HK P30, Dan Wesson CBOB 1911...

I have my eye on an HK USPc or P2000 however, I can't see myself using it as a carry gun over my Glock and really don't think I need another pistol for the range. I like to have weapons I'll use and do not like my guns to sit around.

If I find a deal maybe I'll jump on it though.

    Soon: Remington 870 P
    Later: Remington 700 PSS

    Always: Ammo, ammo, ammo

There's some bits 'n bobbles I'd like to get for my AR, but being bits 'n bobbles they don't rate very high on any list. The shotgun is the only thing I think I really need right now. And with the economy all in a twitter, all purchases are going to based on needs alone for a while.

    hmmm...

1- Smith & Wesson M&P 15- actually have this on layaway and hope to pick up the beginning of March
    2- Walther PPS in 9mm
    3- Glock 30 SF
4- Springfield XD-M.... in 9mm, but hoping that the rumors may be true and there will be a .45 by the time we get to that
5- A revolver, probably some thing small, still researching this
6- A HD shotgun, also still researching this too
(suggestions on the last 2 are welcome!)

Currently have a Glock 19 and Walther PPK/S

Purpledragon, size makes a lot of difference. I won't assume what size hands you have. If they're large they the world is full of choices. but if anyone has small hands like me, the choices are limited. Personally, I find the Ruger SP101 series to be fantastic. Good read to the trigger. They're a bit heavy which helps w/recoil. The trigger pull can be lightened by simply ordering a spring kit from midway and you can install it yourself as it's VERY easy to do.

I love them and the stainless J frames like the Model 60. I just put a model 60-12 pre-lock on layaway over the internet. They're a bit hard to find but they're an excellent revolver. Take a look at some of these.

Then for a HD shotgun, again size is everything but I'd recommend you look at an 870 in 12ga and also the remington 870 in 20ga. Less choices of ammo in 20ga but enough and I think you can lighten the recoil considerably in the 20. I know you can get reduced recoil loads in the 12 and the heavier gun helps soak up some recoil, however, I feel the 20ga is way under rated as a good HD shotgun.

Next up on my list is a 9mm carry gun. The GP100 and MK III are both nice, but not great for carrying.
I'll be renting a few to see what I like best.
A few options to choose from:
    Smith & Wesson M&P
    Sig P229
    Ruger SR9
    or maybe even a Glock?

What I really wish is how to break it to the wife that I bought a Bersa 9UC without being shot. I have had it for 2 months and have not told her. Perhaps, I will wait for spring in case I must reside in the dog house. It will be warmer then.
