What's on my wish list is a Glock 17. It's going to be the big brother to my Glock 26!

Very true! It's not a great gun to shoot - it's snappy and bulky. That hinders concealment, if you were even thinking that. And its chamberings are really some of the least effective for defensive purposes.

If your goal is a versitile revolver for HD, or any other purpose, consider the SW 686 357 3". Far more versitility, far better defense performance, smoother action and performance, and varied chamberings in the same gun.
