    New Kahr K40

I broke down last week and bought this little baby, a Kahr K4044N. (My infatuation with the .40 continues, it appears.)

Holster is a Galco M7X. I like this holster so much, I have bought 3 for my "in heavy rotation" handguns.

Got the wood grips directly from Kahr. The grips were quite dry when I received them, so I slathered them in lemon oil and left them in a ziploc overnight. This is what they now look like - dark and rich.

Time to hit the range and put a few hundred downrange...

Damn...and I thought I had finally made up my mind to buy a DLC'd P9. After seeing how well those grips make that pistol look, you've got me thinking about a K9 now.

I have been weirdly "drawn" to the K series of Kahr pistols for some time....and ur pictures are not helping any at all. Very Very Nice. Just serves to remind us that steel and wood were popular all those years for a reason.

Very Very Nice. I love being able to change grip panels on a pistol.

    You're KILLING ME!!

I've been debating between a Kahr K9 and a Springfield EMP for a year now. I'd pretty much decided to go with the EMP but WOW does the black and wood combo look good and I know the K9 would shoot like a dream!!!

That's really really nice! Enjoy it!

I wanna play. Here is my K9. I also have an MK9 new in the box, but I am waiting to get it out and start toting it around until I lose another 35 pounds. I got it for myself as a reward once I shed the weight.

    Nice gun

There is something very appealing about the appearance of the steel Kahrs with wood grips. In an era of polymer frame guns they are a throwback to the old days. And the steel Kahrs shoot very well and conceal easily. I like my MK9 very much.

    Very nice.

No secret around here, I've edc'd a K9 since they started making the darn things and love it. I think you're gonna be happy with your choice!
