    Taurus TCP?

I've yet to see a Ruger LCP in stock anywhere. There isn't much buzz about the newly announced Taurus TCP so I was wondering if there's anyone else that's excited about the TCP?

the first one - lcp - did nothing for me. i got the p3at, so it was no big deal. i will take a look at this new gun, but don't think it will replace my s&w j-frame.

I believe this is the new Taurus TCP shown at the 2009 Shot Show

    JBinMontana,

That's the Taurus "Slim" 9 mm.

This is the TCP .380 ACP:

I don't really get the intense fascination with the LCP. I HAVE one, but it's just not that different than a P3AT. For whatever reason, the Ruger seems to have gotten all the love, and I doubt the Taurus incarnation will generate nearly the buzz.

I think any demand for the TCP will rely heavily on its price, then early reliability reports.

DIdn't pay much attention to the TCP, but I did like their new SLIM in 9mm. My wife really liked it. Fit her hand, easy to pull back the slide & work the controls.
She'll be looking at one, once they come out in March, as an addition her other carry guns, a J frame & a .32 Keltec.

Thanks for the correction there, I like the Slim 9 and the TCP, but will still just hang onto my J frame.

I would be interested if the weight is around 13 oz. Could be a nifty pocket rocket

    Another one to look at

Have been wanting a pocket carry gun for awhile, I can't carry my full rig for work but thought of a pocket gun to drop in there for the runs into stores or stop and robs.

Thank you, Why not go with the original? KT had early problems that are fixed, another company reverse engineering Kel Tec. This time twice, the slim 9 and the L(whatever)
