How Good Does a H&K USPc in 9MM Handle Recoil?

I'm looking at possibly buying a H&K USPc in 9MM, and was wondering how well it handled recoil.

Now I'm looking at the 9MM models, so can't imagine it being harsh by any means, but still would like some real life experiences on how it shoots. I own a M&Pc in 9MM which should come close if shooting feel, but the H&K is a taller design so I am thinking I may see more flip from the muzzle.

While I don't have experience with the 9mm version, I can attest that the USPc in 40 S&W is much tamer than a XD subcompact or a glock 23. I would rather doubt that you wouldn't be very happy with an HK.

The HK USPc is not a real small gun and has a full grip. The recoil system works very well. I view my USPc as my softest shooting 9mm pistol. It is truely a gun you could shoot hundreds of rounds with little fatigue. I can't compare it with a M&P.

I haven't shot the 9mm, but I have fired the USPc .40 and it is very manageable. I would think the 9mm would be just as good if not better.

IMO, the only 9mm that shoots softer than the USP is a P30 (also made by HK).

I have shot USP compact in 9 mm and P2000 in 9mm. I own both. I think that P2000 was a better shooter with less recoil for me. Also I like trigger better on P2000. All HK pistol are soft shooting guns.Try new P30. Very soft for 9mm. I would like to see P30 in 357Sig.

Very comfy. When I've taken a course, it was my choice to bring along. It's one of those pistols you could shoot all day without problem...if I ever went to a weekend course, it would be my choice as well.

I typically CARRY something much smaller (LCP or Kel-Tec) and practice with them...but I couldn't see shooting a weekend at Gunsite with one of those.
