    Glock Fever!!!

I think I have the Glock fever, every time I hold the g19 or g23 they both feel so good in my hand. I am actually thinking about trading my XD45 compact for one. but I am not sure if I should or not. I bought my XD this past Nov. and I just got my fist #12 basic holster for it. I called fist and they said that I could return it and they would make me the same holster for the glock, and just swap them out. What does everyone on here think I should do. I can actually get a new g23 from one of the local gun stores, it comes with night sights, and three mags for $562.00. But I am not sure if I should get the g19 or g23, or if I should make the trade at all. Looking for suggestions.

Well you will get many opinions but me being a glock guy.....Get the 19. I had a 23 sold it and got my 30sf. But out of the 19 or 23 I would take the 19.

Which one fits your hand the best, the XD or the Glock. I personally like a .45 dia bullet as the others got to catch up. Just a little humor there, please don't take it the wrong way. I have owned both in the past, and still own a G35 that I was not willing to part with but don't shoot alot.

As you know the grip on the XD and the grip on the Glock are differant so, which of the two fit your hand the best.

If it's between the 19 and 23, take the 19. Unless, of course, the 23 fits better in your hand.

You can always add to the collection but you should never remove anything from it.

Save up and then buy the G19.

How can that happen when both guns are on the same frame ?

To make your decision harder, you can get a 9mm barrel for the G23 and you basically have a G19 then.

Thats the key right there. If it feels good in your hand then that should be your choice. I have the G19 and absolutely love it. However if you get the G23 you can always get the conversion barrel and shoot both 9mm and .40 all from the same gun.

I guess I should have said 40 S&W to 9MM. I always hear the 40S&W calling me... wanting to be with me...

    9MM just don't call me...

I am bias to the Glock 19. Because everyone always makes the 9mm whimp joke but i have yet to find someone to stand in front of it

I like the 9mm cartridge. Easy to shoot with enough power to be a very good defense round. .40SW is somewhat of a round without a purpose for me. If I want something more than 9mm I will use my .45

    That's just me.

a mix of the 9mm and the .45, the .40 Short & Weak ends up balistically superior to both.

I believe the G23 is the perfect concealed carry firearm especially with TFO sights and CT grips and a Bianchi Carry loc holster, been my faithful companion daily for 14 years now!!

I agree, get the G23 and buy the conversion barrel to alternate between .40 s&w and 9mm rounds. I would keep the XD, too.
