    Glock 19 Availability

After shooting many pistols of mine and other friends, my co-worker has decided on a Glock 19. The only issue is that they appear to be in short supply.

He has a FFL standing by if he can find the pistol. If anyone finds one, please reply or PM me.

    Thanks,

Would any of these do? Link

Yeah, many are used. And some new overpriced. There's one dealer that offers them all for $515 NIB, not sure what he's got in stock....

ETA: Oops. That link didn't work. I did a search on Gunbroker, but my results page won't show up.

Go to Gunbroker.com click on "pistols" in the left column under Firearms. Then type in Glock 19 in the search box, you should find plenty.
    Regards, T Bone.

Im pretty sure Coal Creek Armory has them here in Knoxville. I don't know price, but they are very reasonable.

Funny, I was just browsing there and looked. They show them in stock (fixed, adjustable or night sights, even some in OD Green). But they had something weird happen to the site during yesterday's inventory according to a pop up note, showing lots of guns in stock that aren't. Wasn't clear if that's fixed yet or not, best to contact them to verify. But I bet they've got them! Bud's is great to do business with too.

Yeah, Bud's site is acting strangely. I noticed Remington 870Ps FS this morning, now they're gone. They had G19 and G26 refurbs for $399 shipped listed also but now they're gone also.

Glocks are in short supply for 2 reasons.

    1) lots of people are buying them.
    2) Glock did inventory for a week just before the holidays and they shut down for the holidays as well. After coming back and having not made production of any pistols, they can't catch up with the demand. The distributors cannot even get any in stock to sell to the retail shops.

I'd give my local FFL a call. Casino Pawn Shop Van Buren, AR 479-474-4779. They seem to have really good connections and probably have it in two days if available. I paid $459+tax for my G19 last year.

My local dealer is a Glock Armorer and a Glock Law Enforcement dealer. Basically he should be able to get anything he wants from Glock, but he called 3 major distributors and they don't have any Glocks. Not even 10mm or .357sig varieties which you'd think not many people would be buying and would be available. They have nothing, not one gun that says Glock.

It's not just Glock, XDs are gone too...can't get a one. S&W 642 snubby revolvers as well.

I guess if you check around enough someone will have one, but the major distributors don't have anything right now.

I live fairly close to a Glock Dealer/Glock law enforcement supplier and he always has Glocks by the dozen in stock.
The other day I went in and while they had a good supply of many different Glocks, they had not been able to get a G19 for the past two weeks and they had one Glock 19C in stock.

I'm glad that my friend is a very patient person. He is no hurry. If he gets an itch to shoot, he can borrow my Glock 23 or Bersa 9UC.

Getting what you want is always worth waiting for. Rather than get something you may end up being unhappy with.

last week on monday an FFL friend of mine called glock. That day they were over 86,000 pistols behind. Who knows how bad it is now. All of their pistols are allocated and will continue to be that way until they can catch up (which they said should be a while).

Yep, exactly the story I heard as well. There's a ton of stock on LEO pistols because they are marked differently, but civilian models are tough to find here in south FL.

I found it a bit difficult to locate a g19 here in south FL as well. Many places only had various .40 cal models. The ones that did have g19's and g26's were charging way too much due to the short supply. Luckily I found a great shop that had a new g19 at a good price. Can't wait to pick it up tommorow.
