Best price on XD .40 subcompact

I own a XD-M and love the gun. I'm about to apply for my CCW license and would like to purchase a XD .40 subcompact for CC. Where is the best place to purchase one online? Bud'sGunShop.com is where I got my XD-M for a good price, but they don't have the XD subcompact. Since I'm new to the gun world, I thought you all may know the best places to buy. Thanks!

There alot of places online-I mainly deal with gunbroker.com and have purchased a couple of weapons from it with no hassles(knock on wood). There is also gunsamerica.com, there is a couple others that I don't remember but those are the 2 I check the most. Good Luck

I've seen them in my neck of the woods anywhere from $399 down to $330. If your watchful, Gunbroker.com can have some GREAT deals.

    $330 for a new XD .40 subbie?
    That's amazingly low.

It is low. There are two dealers in town that move a HUGE amount of XD pistols. I saw one of them sell 15 in three days.

Gee, I might be a sucker. I paid $545 in Orlando. Great gun though. I'll get over it.

Cartman, that little gun is worth every penny. I have an XD45 service and it's SOOO sweet. I couldn't belive the prices myself when I first saw it. But, I guess if you can move em out the door, you can self them for less.

I would search for local gun shops, and ask for quotes first.
Out of stock? Ask how much to order one.

Then, besides Buds, I would search on Gunbroker. After typing a search on Gunbroker, there is a link that says "Notify Me when a new item matching this search is listed" Click that and you can see the new postings sent to you automatically (then you get a head start on a bid, and also see what people are selling them for).

20 mins worth of research can save you some money.

Price from good gun stores (the ones that care about you coming back) in TN is ~$500 + tax + check for XD 9/40 black service/subbie.
Been same for 6 months or so, only diff is that they're harder to come by right now.
