    Glock 22

Hi everyone. Not sure if this is appropriate to post or even if it's in the right place...but ran across this deal on the intarwebs.

Firearms, Guns, Rifles. Grain Valley, Missouri.

Pretty good price on a Glock 22, depending on how "used" they are.

Glocks dont wear out. If you find something worn...they are easy enough to replace. I have been watching summit for awhile for some deals. Every body here says that they are really good to deal with.

That is a good deal for a 2nd generation with night sights and 15 round magazine. The night sights may be a bit dull or at half life since the 2nd gen Glocks are more than ten years old. It does not say if these are totally used or factory refurbished, but that's a good price for someone wanting to try out a Glock. Another thing to think about...if these are original factory used, the barrel upgrades Glock made (if any) to the barrels of the 40S&W models in the 3rd gens will not be there since these are 2nd gen pistols. Other than that, a total list of user replaceable parts shouldn't run more than about $40 excluding barrel (recoil spring assembly, springs, locking block, pins, striker, firing pin safety, etc...)

That's about a typical price for a Police trade in.

I considered it, then added up the cost. I'd put a Gen III or aftermarket barrel in it for sure--the early Gen IIs did have a chamber issue. If nothing else needed replacing, I'm already at the cost of a new G22. If I didn't want to do the barrel? For $100, I'd buy new.

A local pawn shop here has several G22's w/night sights and 2 15 round mags. They were state police trade ins. The ones that I looked at were in nice condition.
