Smith & Wesson 469
I was shopping around today for a Bersa 9mm and was striking out. Everyone I talked to in Connecticut say they are backordered.
I found a used Smith & Wesson 469 for $ 300.00. It was in really good shape with a spare magazine.
I wouild like to hear what you think. Is a 469 a good gun or should I just wait?

I had one years ago, and yes it is a good gun. Though it is discontinued, you should still find holsters and spare magazines on EBay or gun shows if you look hard enough. Also try Midway USA. This pistol was made for concealed carry and the one I had was reliable and fairly accurate to boot.
God bless our troops!

Great older guns and one's I make holsters for.
My first carry gun was a 6946 a 3rd gen version like the 469 2nd gen gun. Great guns and you can get 12 round mags at CDNN really inexpensively.

I had one about 25 years ago it would pinch my skin behind the trigger,I had to use the tip of my finger to fire it or if I used a regular firing position as i squeezed the trigger the skin on my finger would get behind the trigger and i had to literally pinch myself to fire the thing,I sold it after the first couple of range sessions as I had bought it for an off duty gun and it wasn't gonna work out

I passed on it. It just did not feel right to me. Went nuts and got a new Glock M19
