    New Glock owner

I went to the store today to look at a used Smith & Wesson 9 mm. It was a steal gun and I could not beleave the weight. I knew I did not want to carry that all day. The sales man started to show me other 9mm. I had never paied much attention to the Glocks before. He showed me a Model 19, as soon as I picked it up I new that I would not mind the weight of this for an all day carry.
Tomorrow I take it to the range.

I can't say enough about the G19 model. Hard to believe after all these years, it was my last to get Glock. With all marketing schemes put aside, I do think the Glock G19 is the perfect pistol, and I don't even look at it in a Glock sort of way. If you think Glock is the best, then the G19 is the best of the best. Sort of hard to explain since I truly love my Glocks, but even if I was a die hard fan of another brand of pistol.......I'd still have to have a G19.

Looking forward to that range report!

the g19 is one good gun. to me if you like the 9mm the g19 is the one to get. i have put many rounds down range with one and never had a problem.

Congrats and welcome to the GLOCK family. But beware, ownership of one GLOCK usually leads to buying another....

Welcome to the Glock ownership family!!
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I carry a Glock 21 (.45) and with 13 in the mag and 1 in the pipe I feel VERY confident that I will come out on top in a bad situation.
