    Thumbs up Newest CCW Pics

Here is my newest CCW. H&K P7 PSP. Just bought this baby easily in 98.9 % condition for $650.00 with all the goodies from a secret dealer of mine who shall remain anonymous as he has always done me right and his prices are outstanding. Saw well used one's on GB going way higher and have always been intrigued by this pistol.

Had Tim at TT Gunleather build me one of his IWB's and bought 2 extra mags. Lucked out and got the mags for 42.00 a pop!

Still getting used to it's controls but it is fast on the draw and more accurate than I am able to shoot it with these 50 YO eyes.

Disclaimer: I am not a photographer, nor do I pretend to be one. In other words my pics suck and the P7 & holster look 78% better in person!

Have a great weekend. I'm going shooting!

    RC

I keep seeing these pop up recently. Is the grip thing to cock it for the first shot? I have no idea how that system works.

The squeeze cocker when engaged releases the safety. Takes appx. 15 lbs. of pressure to do pull it in. After that it is in SA mode and my trigger is breaking at very sweet 4.7 lbs. I found from todays shooting session it makes you grip it the same time every draw, which is great IMO. It also will release the slide when reloading your mags. The mag release is at the rear heel of the grip, push it in and the mag drops. I actually like it the more I practice with it.

The Germans recently released thousands to the US, grade A,B,C with A being the best. Mine is a non graded specimen that looks unfired. Have it on right now and the holster and I love it!

Here is additional info on the pistol:

I carried one around most of the day today..........

They are great little guns; a tad heavy for an 8 round nine mill., but not unbearable. I wear mine in a leather UBG brand holster OWB.

My main concern is lack of magazine availability, and the price if you do find some.

I saw just one listed on Gunbroker last week, and I think the starting bid was $100.00. Several PM8 mags on there, but the PSPs simply were almost nil.............

    Thumbs up

Thanks folks! It's a keeper. Trigger is the best of any stock pistol I've ever fired! Loves Speer Gold Dots 115 gr. Still getting used to the controls as it is different than any semi I have ever shot. At 25yds. had no problem keeping the shots on a 10" plate, rapid fire. Virtually no muzzle rise at all thanks to it's gas operating system. Is also a breeze to carry right at 5:00 for me.
