    Kahr xs big dot sights

Just wanted to report how happy I am with the XS Big Dot sights on my Kahr PM9. Very east to line up the sights on target and very precise. Great for low light and a great combat sight. I installed them myself using a sight pusher and it took about 2 hours to remove the old sights and fit the XS.

glad you like them...I've had them on my Glocks for a couple of years now and have been very happy with them both at the range and in FOF training.

Welcome to the Forum! Only XS Big Dot I've got is on my 870 front bead. It's great. My PM9 wears the stock Meprolight night sights installed by Kahr.

Could you elaborate a bit on the process of removing and installing the sights? A thread here recently talked about them being difficult to do (was a second hand story though).

Installing them on a Glock is a piece of cake...here's a video that shows the process. I'd imagine the process for a Kahr is somewhat similar.
The hardest part is getting the old sights out.

    XS Sights

I had no touble getting the old Kahr sights removed using a sight pusher.I have the newer model PM9 with the new dovetails.

The time consuming part is fitting the new sights to the dovetail - You have to file them down to fit and this tooks about an hour of work.

Do the XS sights cause any problems with pocket and IWB holsters in terms of fit/snagging?

Where did you buy them? I am looking for a set for my K9 but Kahr takes too long to ship.

It's a Big Dot, but not so big of a sight. It will fit in any holsters standard sight track with no problem. I run them on my Glocks, for me, they're the best sights ever.
