I carry a G23 all the time. Glock makes a heck of a gun but I have to be honest, the XD does fit my hand better. I am going to be buying an XD .40 4inch model with the tax refund in the next week or two.

You will enjoy the Glock 30, and you definitely went about it the right way. You held both the guns you were considering and compared how they fit your hand and went with the one that worked best for you.

It will serve you well, now you just need to take the Wife to a nice dinner to say thank you!

Congratulations. I looked at a G30 this weekend. It was too big for my hand, just did not feel right. Good solid choice though. Enjoy!

You will love the G30! I have a G30SF and it is my EDC. I have it loaded with Federal 230gr. +P HSTs in a Crossbreed Supertuck holster.

Great shooter and incredibly accurate. Just fired 250 rounds last night... It's my therapy. Instead of spending $150 on a shrink, I spend $ 75 at the range. AND I am prepared for whatever life hauls at me!

Welcome to the world of Glock. I did the same thing when I got my 19. Had no plans to get a Glock and then picked it up and compared. The next thing I new I was a Glock owner. You will love it.
