I am not getting rid of the G23 SIXTO. Not to worry there. I may be one of the few who like both polymer big boys.

TheGlock is going to become the real hard duty gun. Ridding 40 miles on my bicycle in 100 + degree heat in the summer? The Glock will be on my hip. Out to the store or an evening movie with no chance I'll sweat the gun full? The XD will be on my hip.

The XD is going to be too pretty to sweat up.....the Glock will take it and never complain!

    Anybody looking for XD's...try Sportsmen's Den, 201 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH @ (419) 347-3007

I just bought an XD-M .40 and XD subcompact 9mm...both in stainless bi-tone. They had both in stock, and many others on hand. They also had all the other models too. The XD-M was $575 and the XD sub was $459. Black versions were about $20 less.

Not only were those better prices than anywhere, they also had them both IN STOCK. They have a ton of other hard-to-find guns also.

    That's awesome! Congrats.

I carry the XD40 Service Bitone that my grandfather bought me before he passed away.

Also have a highly customized XD45 Tac. Neither weapon has ever given me a problem. Every time I get the 1911 bug, I have to remind myself of my Kimber issues versus absolutely zero problems with my XDs. Sometimes you just have to stick with what works and XDs work!

    Congrats on choosing the XD.

If I had not purchased the M&Pc line I would have picked up an XD. I do a ton of XD holsters. I have 3 orders on the bench that are XDs.
