I was wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to check out the new Sig 238? It seems to be a great little package. I always like to hear the good and the bad when considering a new handgun. Any feedback would be appreciated

2A is not negotiable
Sig has a release date of April on the P238.
I will be first in line to see it when it hits the stores. That is a great little SA package. I will have to check it out when it arrives. I love Sigs and that just might be the summer carry option I am looking for

I got to play with one at the SHOT show. I felt like it was worth a look at the prodection model and one I'll keep in mind in the future.
Things I didn't like on the show model were the stiff safety and so so trigger. I'm betting those are probably break in issues mostly and the trigger should be easy to have tuned to personal preferences anyway.
The fit and finish were what I'd expect from a Sig. Pretty darn good. The ergonomics were as good as the Colt. Would like a chance to shoot one myself!
If you stand up and be counted, from time to time you may get yourself knocked down. But remember this: A man flattened by an opponent can get up again. A man flattened by conformity stays down for good. ~ Thomas J. Watson, Jr.
A safety on a SIG??? Not sure I like that idea.
Be Observant and Be Safe.

I like the idea of a safety on my p220 sao.
Yup, like mr surveyor said...

A SA pocket gun sounds like an accident waiting to happen. I've never been enamored of the Colt either. When I first saw this I wondered why Sig brought it back from the dead. A SA target gun; yes, a SA pocket gun; no.
