    The bobtails are running (1911)

Here are 3 bobtail cdr 1911's. A Fusion firearms build, dan wesson cbob, a sig carry and a Pony lw oacp I used a bobtail housing to make a round butt (along with a bunch of other stuff) :

    Nice looking.

Since I ordered mine he has where you can order one like it with my initials as the stock number, lol. The fusion is very sweet, fit and finish perfect and trigger very nice.

I like the solid greider triggers, I put one in the cbob. This sig is from their sweet spot when they used the name brand parts places and after the caspian frame fiasco. Real novak night sights, greider trigger and slide stop, wilson thumb safety, egw thick carry bevel bushing, egw internals, extractor, caspian grip safety (they still use those), storm lake barrel. I did the bobtail in it.

I can't stress how sweet the fusion is. It's made on his "pro" series frame which is forged (he does have cast frames also, like the cbob). The cbob is a well made production gun and I like it a lot, but it can't come close to the precision fitted fusion.

Wasn't Bob Serva the guy who was designing the Dan Wessons before CZ bought them out? I sold a CBOB and Kimber Ultra CDP II this past December knowing that if I ever get another 1911, it would be a Fusion.

Yes he was, great guy to deal with and will make one any way you wish. There's a forum for fusion at the link in my signature. I plan on getting a government just like this cdr before its over with.

I really like the xs sights a lot also.

I forgot the lw oacp. I guess its a bobtail dince I used a bobtail housing to make a round butt.

I'm liking the Scout XL or PRO-Series ELITE in a 10mm. Hmmm, when the income tax refund comes in, do I get a G29SF or a Fusion?

I'll save the money with the Glock and beat the crap out of it while I'll end up babying the Fusion and probably never take it out of the safe.

haha, get both. I like 10mm and reload it but I don't have any right now. I sold a first editiom delta elite not long ago (divorce sale). I do want a g29sf at some point.

Man, my wife would kill me if I got both. In fact, she'll probably kill me if I get either.

I've still got about 1500 rounds of DT and Georgia-Arms 10mm left and I also stocked up on G29 mags a while ago when I found a deal on them. The moons are aligned for at least the G29SF but you never know.
