The 60 & 36 are both called J-frames, but obviously the 60 has to be a bit longer, at least in the frame/cylinder.
How does the 60 compare to the SP101?
Anybody have any comparison pics?
Appreciate it.

I have an SP-101 and it's a great gun. The Smith from what I've been told has a smoother trigger, and weighs 2 oz. less.
If i'm not mistaken, the S&W 60 has high-viz sights, while the SP101 has unpainted sights built into the frame, yes?
I've got a Model 36 where the sights are built into the frame, and they're hard to pick up at the range; forget about it at night.
My buddy's thinking about a 357 revolver for an EDC, and I frankly don't know much about what's out there.
Hi-Viz sights are available on the S&W model 60, some come with a ramp.
Can't help with the size difference.
well my model 60 and 36 are this same size. but they both are the old 38 sp j-frames. the new model 60 in 357 mag is a little bigger, longer that is, for the 357 mag round over the 38 sp round. and the barrel is a little longer. don't know much about the ruger, except it is a good gun.
