    CZ's new polymer framed Compact.

    NEW for 2009

The slick action/convertible CZ P-07 Duty is now on their website.

Look for the guns to reach Dealers in a month or so.

WE at CZforum should have a sample to play with after that:)

The trigger guard might give holster makers fits at first, but I'm sure that High Noon and others are up to the task.

Interesting...I've always liked the idea of polymer hammer pistols instead of the more often seen striker fire ones. It does look slick, but I wonder if it's too slick in the wrong places. The textured parts do look like they'd be grippy. Why is there texture on the frame above the trigger guard? Talking about trigger guard, this one may stick down a little too much below the bottom of the trigger. Sorry, don't mean to be so critical. It probably looks much more in proportion in person.

I keep hearing good things about CZ pistols, but I don't know much about them. Are they DA/SA with a decocker safety like the Beretta 92? I guess I will have to hit my gun dealer to see if they have any 9mm models in stock.

Some people hate it, others will gladly welcome it.

Looks like it will be $140 cheaper than the already wildly popular P-01 or P-06.

    2009 prices per CZ-USA buyer's guide.

    $672 for the P-01/P06

    only $508 for the Duty

    A whopping $164 savings!

The horrible CZ100. Awful trigger but great ergonomics and classic CZ
    'reliability at a good price.

As for CZ retail pricing in 2009.

    SP-01 Tactical $820

    SP-01 Phantom $681

    $139 Savings.

The Phantom is lighter, but still accepts all full sized CZ 9mm/40 mags.
Hopefully a .40 version isn't to far off, as the .40 SP-01 is selling well.

The RAMI P will be closing the gap/ with a $69 price difference.

    RAMI $612

    RAMI P $681.

These new prices seem cruel, but a person would pay even more for a
    SIG or H&K.
