    Bought a new XD today!

    Went and bought a new XD 40 today. I got the 4" Dark earth with the stainless slide. Bought 100 rounds to take it to the range and try it out as well. Now I just need to go take the class and get my CCW. I'm used to carrying open because of working with Security Forces in the USAF and hiking in the mountains. It'll take a bit of getting used to carrying concealed when I get my permit. I'll post pics and a range report after I go shoot. On the plus side my wife likes the feel of the XD in her hand and I may have to go buy a second one to keep her from stealing mine I'm liking the looks and reviews on the crossbreed supertuck so I may have to order one and a magazine holder as well. Ya'll take care and happy (and safe) shooting.

    Congrats on the XD. I love my XD.40. Very accurate and fun to shoot. My wife likes shooting it as much as her XDsc9. I have 2000 rounds thru each gun and never a problem.

    I just got an XD .40 service model bi-tone myself last week! It is a great gun. It has replaced the Glock 23 as my primary carry gun.

    Yours being a dark Earth with stainless slide I'd love to see some pictures of it!

    Congratulations on your new XD! The crossbreed supertuck is really popular over on the XD forum. I have a Comp-tac minotaur for my XDm and I like it a lot.

    I love my XD-9 subcompact and XDm .40. Could ask for better guns.
    I also have the SuperTuck IWB...and there are cheaper...but none are comparable.

    Congrats!

    I don't know about Utah but I am pretty sure you don't need to qualify here in FL if you have a Military ID. Maybe worth checking out and save some time and hassle.
