Shot my Sig 239 for the first time today!

I went with a few friends shooting on some private property today. I finally got some rounds through the 239. Ive been waiting to carry until I was confident in the gun, and my accuracy... Still gotta work on the latter LOL. It sure does shoot nice though! Im also holding onto a friends 220 Carry SAS GenII until he gets his license ( I have a 220 Carry SAS GenI on order) and that is one amazing gun Its making waiting for mine much worse. Both guns were a dream to shoot. We also got to put some rounds down range with the 6.8spc AR's, sks's, and shotguns All in all it was a great day! Just thought I would share.

You should have read the forums more carefully, if you had you'd know about the SIG curse......... Like potato chips, you can't get just one!!

I've had my 239 for a couple months now and love it. Carry it in a DM Bullard Dual Carry at 3:30 or so and it's been great. Shoots better than I do!

Accuracy is a good thing to work on. ;) My .40 P239 likes lots of use, a firm wrist and 155gr. Silvertips.

My daily carry for the past few years has been a 239. I also have a 220 and recently picked up a 226 BW. Sigs are great.

Oddly enough I was better shooting comparatively at about 50 yards than I was at 10. LOL

I know... A couple of days after I picked up the 239 they had placed a BEAUTIFUL 229 Elite in .40s&w in the case and I almost put a deposit on it. I actually ordered the 220 SAS a long time ago but it still hadnt come in. So I figured I needed something to hold me over until then

I have owned both... at least an older P220... still wish I had my old P220... the P239 was an excellent carry gun, but always felt it was too small in my hand, even after changing out the grips... all that said neither of them ever had a problem... not one FTF or FTE!!!

I always enjoy firing my 239, great pistol, reliable, accurate and spot on. However, lately I've had to share my range time with my 229R
