Picking mine up at the FFL on Tuesday. Can't wait to get to the range.
20120823_233417.jpgI Have bought a new in the box one and it preforms flawlwessly ! Not a bulky one , fits the hand vey well and shoots great . I wouldn't consider selling for less than $ 600 ! Hard to beat a browning and I own 3 glocks and two rugers but it just fits the hand the best and very unique pistol!!

looking for an sks ? anyone have on for sale?
what GREAT information on a rather rare gun. i don't own one, but just to read about what the owners have experienced and learned has made being a DC member worthwhile all by itself! (i've many other reasons to be glad i found this site)
i believe i sold one or two BDM's during my five or six years as a gun salesman. it didn't appeal to me because the Dual Mode capability was of no interest to me, and the fact that it had dedicated magazines was a negative. i really liked the way it looked and felt in my hand, though. if it had used Hi Power mags i might have bought one.
I first shot one of these about 15+ years ago and liked the way it felt. That one had quite an interesting trigger job done to it. It almost unloaded itself after the first shot when it was set to the DA/SA mode. It would spit 3-5 shots if you just touched the trigger and you could unload a dull 15 round clip very easily in no time if you wanted to when it was in P mode. When I came across this one about 6 years ago i decided to buy it. Of course I thought I would get the same ridiculous trigger job and switch to that mode for fun only. Boy am I glad that the gunsmith refused to do it and talked sense into me. Left it stock and always carried it in that mode without the worries of unloading the entire gun if I were shooting it. It still works like a charm and has had many thousands of rounds through it. I saw get one if you can and it will grow on you quickly.
