    Glock 30SF Upgrades...

I have a G30SF, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas for some upgrades, and where I could find/get the upgrades done at.

I was thinking about a trigger job, but I don't know if that would be a good idea since this is my EDC.

Any help would be great, thanks.

You know, I have 2 heavily modified GLOCKs for USPSA and IDPA. The Limited gun has a 2# trigger and barely any reset--it literally took me 200 rounds to learn not to unintentionally double it. Mag wells, springs, triggers...and about 3 months getting it all to work every time. My carry guns are also GLOCKs, and they have...drumroll please...the 3.5# connector. That's it.

When you start adding parts you compromise reliability. My advice would be to leave your carry gun stock.

The only upgrade I made was a pearce +0 floorplate. I also broke out the dremel on the trigger guard. Add some night sites and shoot the heck out of it!

Well... what areas do you feel need improved? Dont just throw money at a problem that may or may not exist.

The only addition I have found that I needed for any og my carry Glocks was a set of night sights or TFO's. My personal carry is a G30. Everything stock exept the sights - TFO's - personal choice. The stock sights work but I wanted High visability and night sights for my failing eyes.

I have night sights, and really like them.

What about a steel spring rod? Will it help with anything? Or just a waste of money?

    Waste of money IMO.

Take the money you'd spend on a steel guide rod, or extended slide release, etc., and buy ammo with it. Before you spend the money on the 3.5 lb connector get used to what came in the gun.
