HK USP compact or new pistol?

I've been looking at getting a glock 26 or Smith and W M&P compact for carry.

I really like the HK, but it just feels a little bulky. It has the features, reliability, fit, and accuracy that I like. The size is the only issue. I'm 5'7 and 170 lbs.

Will I be gaining a lot of concealment by going to either of these two pistols?

I plan on keeping the HK for now, but don't want to spend the cash to buy a new holster for it if I go for a different pistol. Right now I just have a cheap IWB holster, but have been looking at the Crossbreed super tuck or CTact M-Tact.

Do I buy the glock or SW or just stay with the HK?

I've handled but not shot either of the other two pistols.

As a former owner of an HK USPc45 and a present owner of a Glock 26, I can subjectively inform you that the G26 is easier to conceal,...for me.

The HK is definitely a great weapon. Mine was extremely accurate. I bought a Mitch Rosen 5JR [OWB] holster and a Sparks VMII but never got totally comfortable carrying it. Just felt too bulky. Got rid of it a few years ago.

My G26 disappears in the Supertuck and can be carried all day without any discomfort. It too is a very accurate shooter.

I've never owned or fired an M&P handgun (did own a M&P AR15), so I can't help you there.
