If it was me I'd get it. And it would be my 2nd G26.

Good price, I don't think I could have left the store without it.

    Thumbs up G26 and others

My normal carry was a Taurus P145, I like the stopping power of a 45 so the P145 was a replacement for my Rugers, but it was a little large for summer apparel and heavy to carry after a few hours. I had purchased a G19 at a bargain price.

I decided to get a few more toys with the changing of the guard, etc. and visited one of the larger ffa shops. I looked at both the Taurus P111 and the G26. I couldn’t make up my mind so I bought both. (BTW my wife was standing next to me when I bought them )

I like the P111 because the grip is a little longer and my small finger rest on the grip but I can easily live with the G26. I am planning to get some 10+2 Glock mags and/or some clip extensions to compensate for the short, for me, grip.

One nice thing about the G26 is that it takes G19 mags as well. So I have 10 round G26 mags plus 15, 17 and 30 round G19 mags that work as well.

I have more than one shirt, pair of pants, suit and tie so I don’t carry the same “defense support system” all the time I adjust to the “environment” I am going into.

Well, the price is definitely right!

You say you don't need it, the real question is do you WANT it more than you WANT the G19 you've been thinking about.

Personally, if I wanted 'em both but could only afford one, I'd save my money until I could afford to get the G19.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

That's a very good price out the door for a great weapon... the Glock 26 has become one of my favorite gun for carry or the range... I just love seeing how much better I can get every time I take it to the range.

Sounds like a good price to me mine was about $530+tax. As far as the Love it or leave it , I'm or the fence , haven't really made up my mind on it. I like it but I guess not having a manual safety is whats got me.

I'll just give myself time to get used to it and see. If I can't get used to it I'll trade for another 1911A1.

But I like the fact of having a 9mm in the fold, so I'd say get it if you think you'll like it. The only time mine has had a couple of FTE's is when my 12 year old daughter limp wristed it. As soon as we realized what was going on we didn't have anymore trouble out of it.
