and I am going to get a G27 or a G36. Can't decide on which one though.
How about the pro and cons of each from you guys that own these two pieces of combat tupperware!

Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!
I've got a G36 that I carry at times. It can be prone to limp wristing if you don't have a secure grip. +P ammo is also a little snappy out of such a light weight .45. Overall, the G36 with a good holster and belt is a carry package that's pretty hard to beat in .45 ACP.

27 is more flexible you can use 23 or 22 magazines.

Having owned both, I would choose the 26 over the 27 every time!

ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ!
Size wise, are they both pretty comparable other than the 36 being slimmer?
It seems like folks have a love/hate relationship with the 36. I do like slimmer for CC though. I had a G30 briefly but never carried it because I didn't have my permit during that time of my life. I do recall it being thick and I am sure the 27 will be thick as well which is a negative for me. However I do like the capacity and the fact that the 27 will accept it's larger hi-cap brother's magazines as well so that is a plus. In fact I would carry G22 mags for reloads.
As far as the 26 goes, I don't think I want to go back to 9mm.

I really like my G27. YMMV
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME.
I like my 27. Ammo seems easier to find right now for the 40. And the practice ammo is cheaper than 45 right now. I practice alot with mine and I hardly notice the snap anymore. 27 gets my vote.
I owned a G27 & G36. Sold the G27, still have the G36 which I love. Found the G27 recoil to be snappier than other platforms such as the M&P 40C & HK P2000.

Be sure to let us know which one you brought back..!!!

Price is also coming into play for me.
The 27 is priced a good bit less than the 36.

I have owned a 36 and still have my 27. I love them both. IMO the 9+1 of the 27 with the ability to carry a 13 or 15 round reload is the decision maker. You would need to carry two reloads to get 19 rounds of .45 vs one 15 round reload giving you 25 rounds of .40.
Both rounds are adequate for SD.
My 27 is my EDC off-duty weapon. She rides in a VM II or a Fist OWB#10. One or two 13 rounders on the off side.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!
Still can't believe what happened on 11/06/12! Disgusted and disappointed!
I have the G-36, and it's a dependable weapon that's easy to conceal. I have more than one Glock NOW...but I used to hate them.
I always thought that Glocks looked, and felt...like BRICKS. That is, until I picked up the G-36...the slim grip sold me.
I still use a Kimber Ultra as my EDC, but my G-36 is my Harley gun.
I have also picked up the G-26 a while back, and my wife is kind of liking that little guy...fine with me!
Get the Glock-36, you won't regret the purchase.
