    FNP-9 or 45 vs. Glock 19

Ok, I know that I'm comparing apples to watermelons here but stay with me.

I have a Kel-Tec PF-9 that i carry all the time right now. I like it a lot.....buuuuut, I got two gripes with it that most of you can probably guess already.

    Capacity and Accuracy

I'm torn between these choices, FNP-9, FNP-45, and the ol' standby the Glock 19.

Price is an issue.... a fairly big one, but not the last word.
Accuracy is the other important thing I'm looking for.
capacity is last on the list between these, but also important.

This gun will be shot a lot and carried almost as much.

    OK! lemme hear it....

I get to be the first Glock guy! So guess what I say! G19 all the way!

Of course I haven't even seen an FNP-9 or 45 yet so my statement is pretty biased.

If you can try all of them out and get the one that fits you and that you shoot the best. It really is an individual preference thing.

I just have a hard time with the glock grip angle so I too have been looking at the FN handguns. Aftermarket accessories makes the glock grip angle not so bad though :)

Check out places like bud's gunshop and you may get a deal on a Glock. I like the ease of getting parts and accessories and, of course, the reliability even when dirty.

I would even debate it... the G19 wins this contest.

I have yet to actually see a FNP-45, everyone tells me that they are such a physically big gun that it would be tough to conceal.

Although I'm not too worried about it, I ask if anybody has some side by side photos of one with, say a G-19 or other common firearm?
(common meaning one that I've probably seen/used before)

Go check out FN Forum.NET PS90 FS2000 FN SCAR FiveseveN 5.7x28mm FN Forum.NET :: Index if ya wanna talk to some FNP owners.

I don't have a FNP45 - but many people with small hands have commented that the gun fits them well.

    I've owned Glocks.
    I carry an FNP45

    FNP-45

    Next to an FNP9

It's not a big gun. It is not compact but I do not class it as being overly large.
I wear size 10 Mechanix gloves.

I currently carry it in a Supertuck.

Next pics will have it holstered in a Pure Kustom Black Ops rig.
Keep the gun oiled and the temple clean

Although I have no problem with the G19 I have just picked up an FNP9 very comfortable accurate and light in weight.Right now some Gun shops taking advantage and trying to gauge prices on glocks go for the FNP9 or 45 well Good Luck in your decision.

Uh... bud has a 21SF, which I handled today... compared to my 19, it's VERY large and WAY thicker. He has no intention of carrying it, he carries the 19. I'd hate to have to hide the 21.

Exactly! FNP9 isn't bad but I can't live with the trigger. Never shot the FNP45 but it feels good in the hand. That is one big honkin pistol though.

    Glock 19...

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.

G19...is more proven reliable and you can get parts easier if it breaks, plus the holster makers are limitless.
