    Glock 35 for carry?

    Hey Friends,
I carry a Ruger SR9 but have recently gotten involved in IDPA and just joined GSSF. Got the Glock LE pricing coupon headed my way so I thought I would buy a Tupperware gun. Was thinking that the G35 would be great for matches but also thought that the G22 might fit my existing holsters so maybe I should get that. Need some help (or a hard blow to the head) to figure out which gun to get. Is the G35 able to CCW or should I just get the G22?
Thanks in advance for all opinions.

I would get the G27 cause I did I love it and Im able to group pretty good with it at 25 yards. Nothing better than a glock

If you think you can conceal a full sized 1911, you could conceal the 35.

I wouldn't really try to carry a 35 except for maybe winter time carry.

Since you already have a 9mm, why are you interested in the .40S&W series Glocks?

Yes, there are some that ccw the 35. It would not be the easiest to pull off. I own a 35 and think very highly of it. Bought a conversion barrel and mags for 9mm...and so it can be converted to a 34. It is a very accurate pistol with a decent trigger for a Glock.

    Good luck...the 35 is a great gun!

Not really sure why I want to buy a Glock. Got interested in their matches. Had an interest in their guns. I know it sort of overlaps the Ruger SR9, thus the dilemma Glock 22 versus 35. 22 would be pretty similar to Ruger and G35 a bit different. But I like to carry concealed. I have the same problem with cars, own 4...

I shoot a G35, in IDPA with a 9mm Drop in barrel, and I have carried it before in an MTAC, it worked okay. It felt the same carry wise that a G17 or G22 felt.

Lately, I've been thinking a G34 would be a great addition. I carried a G22 for years so I doubt the little extra slide length would bug me for concealed carry. Besides, you get a coupon...get the 35.

The G30 is a better choice IMO. No problems getting custom loads for it either.

Can it be carried? yes...I believe Tom Givens carries a G35 and I know of at least one guy that carries a 34. I've carried a 17 with no problems so I'm sure a little extra barrel wouldn't be a big deal.

If that's what you want, go for it.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.
